I have been making my custom diaper bags for several years, mostly for friends and family member’s . But when my son and his wife were expecting earlier this year, they wanted to have a more personalized layette for their upcoming new baby. So I got my sewing machine busy and came up with matching burp rags, receiving blankets and a water-proof changing mat to go with the diaper bag I made them. Then while showing off pictures of it all, a co-worker asked if I could make a couple nursing covers for her daughter. It was then I decided to set up my Etsy shop to be able to share all of my custom made items with more people.

I came up with my shop name from my grandson (Maverick) who I started all the custom work for. I opened shop in January 2021, and have since had about 14 orders. I started out with just the diaper bags, burp rags, changing mats, receiving blankets and nursing cover. I have since added the Peek-a-boo Infant car seat canopy and puffy bubble blankets, with hopes of adding more items in the near future.

Some of the items I have so far made include honey bees, elephants, giraffes, cupcakes, Hello Kitty, unicorns, turtles, and deers. But the choices are endless, limited only by your imagination.
